Meantime, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner certainly had lots to tell CNBC this morning when it comes to rising energy prices, essentially saying Europe is much less likely to derail the US recovery because of actions taken there recently.
On higher oil prices he said, it's the results of two things. Better growth outside of Europe first of all and because of Iran, which he believes can do a lot of damage to the global economy. The Administration is working very carefully to try to minimize that risk and make sure there are alternative sources of supply from Saudi Arabia for example.
