Add to Commods Positions on Shallow Pullbacks.
OK, not exactly "String Theory", or "Quantum Physics" either..
Still - the intent seems clear - commodities should afford a hedge against the inflation almost universally expected later this year and emerging markets should afford the supply-demand kicker reflecting a recovering macro-economy - even if that recovery remains achingly slow and bereft of the normal re-employment spike....
Could be worse - fer SURE - but barring the ever-present long "TAIL" risk, there seems a sense in the air hinting at an unusual re-engagement effect.
Everything ELSE in this debacle has been unusual - many items so much so, they may not qualify as typical recovery tiles (or "chips") strongly suggesting the forensic eco-analysts derive, then apply new definitions accordingly.
(Thinking aloud - it'll probably pass later tonight).
