Yeah, I know this guy too - can't say we hang out at the local dive daily but spent enough time at Ceres' in the CBOT that we can (and do) laugh at each other's quirks. I can say totally sans reservation, his "Cajones" are bigger than my entire countenance - when he feels strongly - he USES them to make important points. That said, I've never either heard of or seen him do so out of agression or meanness. So I would (and I DO) pay attention to his thought processes knowing he's an Options freak while I'm just a FREAK (with a Futures Fetish). There is undeniable crossover between our shared interests but it's not "omnipresent".
